Allow us to introduce the young chef of our à la carte restaurant “Es Ratxo”, who will provide our guests with a wide variety of dishes prepared in the Mediterranean tradition.

Jaume Ferrà trained in the Junípero Serra School of Hotel and Restaurant Management, one of the most important and well-established on Majorca, under the tutelage of renowned professionals from the island, including Tomeu Caldentey, Chef of “Es Molí de’n Bou” (awarded with one Michelin star) located in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar. There, he learned the basic techniques of cookery that he has had the opportunity to perfect over the course of his career.

Of particular interest in his career is the experience gained working in the five-star Hotel la Quinta (Minorca) and the four-star Hotel Hesperia Villamil (Paguera). He worked as 2nd chef in both of these establishments, under the supervision of head chef Toni Mauro, although it should be pointed out that at the same time as this, he was also in charge of the à la carte restaurant in the Hotel Hesperia Villamil “La terrasse”.

We would also highlight the time he spent in one of the best restaurants on Majorca, “Es Racó d’es Teix” (Michelin 1*) in Deià, with the distinguished chef Josef Sauerschell. “Myself and my team look forward to your visit and we hope that you enjoy the dishes we prepare and the surroundings in which they are served.”
